第一次，我做一个传说中的神一一普罗米修斯......

此后不久，在阴森森的地宫里，我的灵魂正在游荡，转过宫殿的一角，撒旦在冲我冷笑”哼!普罗米修斯，我一向尊重你，可你竟然给人间带去了火种!“

“是的，正因为如此，我才受到了宙斯的惩罚!可是我坚持我是正确的，因为我给人间带去了光明与温暖，人类会记着我!我爱天堂，可我更爱人类!”

“可你被宙斯施以酷刑!可怜虫!连我都替你感到羞耻!”撒旦的声音在地狱里回荡。

“你算什么?你不过是被宙斯打败的魔鬼!智慧的万神之神会理解我的!”

“你真是一个顽固的家伙，我要让你重新回炉!烧毁你那疯狂的爱之心!”在撒旦恼羞成怒、声嘶力竭的咆哮声中，一股烈火将我包围，但我坚信，我的心会愈发澄澈。“如果我重回人间，我定会依然有一颗仁爱之心!”

第二次，在千百年后我做了一个震惊朝野的清廉官吏一一海瑞……

突然一天，正在我埋头查阅案卷的时候，书童跌跌撞撞地跑了进来，神情恐慌地喊道“海大人，不好了，你的奏折惹恼了皇上，要拿你下狱呢!您快想想法子吧!”

“无妨，我为民请命，匡正皇上错误，我问心元愧就是下狱又有何惧哉!”

“海大人，您官小名微，当朝贵人都不曾进谏您这是何苦呢?”书童满脸焦虑地抱怨着。

“我视人民为衣食父母，为民请命，我心甘情愿!我受皇恩，但更要为黎民着想!看着贪官污吏都在我面前如割麦一般倒下，看着他们诅咒的目光，听着民众由衷的呐喊，我扪心自问，对得起天地良心。”

终于，我在百姓安居乐业中死去，灵魂再次来到那阴森之地。“海瑞!你竟然违背我的意愿，擅自为民做主!那就用冰使你屈服!”“如有重生，我依然有一颗仁爱之心!”

5月19日下午2时28分，全国哀悼日，时间的脚步在此刻停住。

全国各个城市响起了轰鸣声，而此刻，我低头默哀，为在上川汶川地震中的死难才默哀，弥漫在我们这个城市的，除了轰鸣声，还有不少的眼泪。面对戛然而止的生命，面对一间间倒塌的教学楼，面对地震后的满目苍夷，我的心在痛，在我听来，这3分钟的鸣声是多么令人难受，就像一把尖刀刺痛了每个人的神经。

站在校门口的我，停住了脚步。

回到教室里，老师正在播放《让世界充满爱》这首歌曲。“轻轻地握住你的手，不论在眼前在天边，真心地我为你祝愿，祝愿你幸福平安……”歌曲完了，但我的心还在流泪。

老师哽咽着对我们说：“同学们，不要悲伤!一切都会过去的，自然灾害我们人类是无法预知的，但在灾难过后，最需要的是我们团结一致，众志成城地去面对，我们应该用我们的双手，为灾区贡献自己的力量，为四川加油!为中国加油!”顿时，教室里传出了雷鸣般的掌声。我转过头去看看同桌，此刻，她已经泣不成声了!是啊，看着自己的家乡在瞬间变为废墟，心里该多能受啊!就让她尽情地发泄蹩屈已久的悲伤吧!我轻轻地拍了拍她的肩。

这一次次灾难并没有把中华民族震垮!中华儿女用她们的坚强对“中国”两字作出了最好的诠释。我们应该拾起死难者未竟的遗愿，把失去同胞的悲伤化为一股源源不断的动力，在废墟中寻找光明的道路。

在14时28分这一刻，所有的路人都停下了脚步!

但，重建灾区的脚步没有停止，也不会停止。中国这条巨龙的腾飞的脚步更不会停止!

十年之后，我二十出头，应该会是在大学里刻苦地攻读学位。那座大学拥有古老典雅的建筑，绿叶轻舞的垂柳，一座幽雅的小桥架在美丽宁静的康河上——没错，它就是英国的剑桥大学。我是那里成千上万个学生中的普通一员，我会尽全力认真学习。我抓住每一次机会去听我感兴趣的课程，与同学们认真讨论问题，与教授争论……繁重的学习任务因此变得兴趣盎然。剑桥的校训是“让自由之风劲吹”，正是在这样自由的学习环境，使得我们畅所欲言。

在非洲的一片茂密的丛林中，走着四个皮包骨头的男子，他们扛着一只沉重的箱子，在密林里踉踉跄跄地往前行走。他们跟随队长进入丛林探险，可是，队长却在任务即将完成时患急病而不幸长眠于林中了。临终前队长把他亲手制作的箱子托付给他们，并十分诚恳地说：“如果你们能把这个箱子送到我的朋友手里，你们将得到比金子还贵重的东西。”

埋葬了队长之后，他们便扛着箱子上路了。道路越来越难走，他们的力气也越来越小了，但他们仍然鼓着劲往前走着。

终于有一天，绿色的屏障突然拉开，他们历经千辛万苦之后终于走出了丛林，找到了队长的朋友。可是那个朋友却说：“我一无所知啊!”于是，打开箱子一看，竟是一堆无用的木头!

就这么个故事，看起来，队长给他们的只是一箱无用的木头。其实，他却给了他们行动的目的，使他们获得了“比金子还贵重的东西”——生命。从哲学角度上讲，人与动物不同的地方是人具有高级思维能力。所以人不能像其它动物一样浑浑噩噩地活着，人的行动必须有明确的目的和奋斗的目标。

在座的各位都是文科班的学生。我们大学生的目标就是努力学习文化知识，成为祖国需要的合格人材。让我们为这个目标而奋斗吧!谢谢大家。

"英雄难过美人关"。历史长卷上没有冷落女子。"一顾倾人城，再顾倾人国"，美得妩媚，"回眸一笑百媚生，六宫粉黛无颜色"美得仪态万方。红颜祸水，周幽王烽火戏诸侯，使褒姒背上千古骂名。"一骑红尘妃子笑，无人知是荔枝来"把杨玉环骂得如何不是。我看却未必，越女西施不是成就了勾践"越甲三千可吞吴"。杨家女将，不是个个逞能。

这时，历史铜镜出现一位"白衣仙人"，他正饮酒自乐，这不是谪仙诗人李白?大诗人啊!为何"借酒消愁"呢?早知官场昏暗，又何必"仰天大笑出门去"，感慨"我辈岂是蓬蒿人"呢?诗人惆怅，吐出的三分是豪情万丈，七分是盛唐多彩的江山。三分注定你才高八斗，孤高自傲。盛唐的画卷之中，不是帝王之像，而是你谪仙李白呀!

Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can't help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn't it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.

You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there's afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!

I'm not contented with the present commonplace life, I'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I'd rather there were afterlife.
